Class A Player of the Week
Billy Thomas  6-0  Sr  North Farmington: He’s finally on the court and making the most of the chance. Thomas scored 20 in a key OAA Red win over Rochester Adams then had 23 points in a defeat of Bloomfield Hills.

Class A Underclassman of the Week
Foster Loyer  6- 0  So  Clarkston: Here for the second time thanks to his 38-point effort in a win against Avondale. 

Class B Player of the Week
Troy Summers  6-8  Jr  Grayling: He’s really come on with back-to-back games of 32 points and 18 rebounds against Traverse City St. Francis and 23 points, 23 rebounds against Boyne City.

Class B Underclassman of the Week
Brandon Paul  6-7  So  Sault Ste. Marie: Though it was a loss to St. Ignace, Paul held his own with 19 points.

Class C Player of the Week
Jamal Cain  6-6  Jr  Detroit Cornerstone: The top ranked recruit in the division showed why with 28 points and 11 rebounds in a win over Melvindale ABT, 27 and 10 in a win over Detroit Leadership and then 21 points and 18 rebounds at Grand Rapids Union.

Class C Underclassman of the Week
Ronald Hill  5-11  Detroit Pershing:  iIt’s still hard to wrap your head around the Doughboys being in Class C. Yet there they are, and there was Hill holding his own in the PSL playoffs with 13 points in a loss to Detroit CMA after scoring 22 earlier in the week against Cass Tech.

Class D Player of the Week
Garrett Kraatz  5-11  Sr  Allen Park Inter-City Baptist: He had 26 points and 14 rebounds from his guard spot in a defeat of Dearborn Heights Annapolis and 24 points in a win against University Liggett.

Class D Underclassman of the Week
Bryce Washington  6-4  So  Southfield Christian: He earned his second appearance in this space thanks to 9-of-10 field goal shooting for 24 points in Southfield Christian’s one-point win over Belleville. Earlier in the week Washington had 18 points and 10 rebounds against Plymouth Christian.
