Class A Player of the Week
AJ Crawford  5-10  Jr  Warren Cousino: He had a career-high 39 points in a defeat of Warren Mott then followed that up with 22 in a win over Chippewa Valley.

Class A Underclassman of the Week
Brandon Johns  6-9  So  East Lansing
One could make the case that Johns is the top college prospect in the state regardless of class. He did nothing to dissuade that contention with 36 points and 12 rebounds for undefeated East Lansing against Lansing Sexton.

Class B Player of the Week
Austin Davis  6-10  Sr  Onsted: Onsted remained undefeated as the Michigan signee had 29 points, 13 rebounds and four blocks against Hudson, 20 points, 14 rebounds and five blocked shots against Blissfield.

Class B Underclassman of the Week
Luke Morrell  6-0  So  Plainwell
: A top soccer prospect, Morrell is OK with handballs to, as he sunk five three-pointers and scored 20 points against rival Otsego.

Class C Player of the Week
Tyler Baker  6-5  Sr  Grand Rapids NorthPointe Christian: .He was terrific a few days earlier against Detroit Allen, then Baker topped himself with a school-record 47 points in NorthPointe’s defeat of Wyoming Lee.

Class C Underclassman of the Week
Mark Watts
  5-11  Fr  Detroit Allen: Mark “Rocket” Watts has become almost as ubiquitous as the Quicken Loans app that shares his nickname. The state’s top freshman guard scored 27 for the state’s top Class C team in a win over Pontiac Academy for Excellence.

Class D Player of the Week
Gunnar Libby  5-8  Jr  Hillman: Don’t be fooled by the locale, this kid has a fresh game and helped Hillman stay undefeated with 19 points against Hillman then 29 and seven assists against Lincoln Alcona.
