Bank Hoops Division 3 MVP Zander Woodruff of Laingsburg.

Overall All-State Team

MVP Zander Woodruff 6-3 Sr Laingsburg Lansing CC: He led the Wolfpack to their second-straight undefeated regular season while leading the state in scoring at 32.3 points to go with 6.7 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game. He shot 40 percent from behind the arc and 84.1 percent from the foul line.

Defensive MVP Jamier Palmer 6-0 Sr Niles Brandywine: He was he tip of the spear for a state championship defense that held 22 opponents below 50, including seven finishing with fewer than 40 points. A pick six threat in pressure, ballhawk in the half-court and brought blue-collar toughness getting 50/50 balls. Palmer averaged 3.5 steals per game.

Rookie MVP Clayton Heuker 6-4 Fr McBain: He was the second-leading scorer and rebounder for state semifinalist McBain averaging 8.1 points 5 rebounds per game while shooting 54.7 percent from the floor.

Coach of the Year Nate Knapp, Niles Brandywine: A A union carpenter whose teams are similarly all business. nearly 20-year lifer at his alma mater who had one winning season in his first nine, Knapp has had the Shamrocks ever since. After going 25-3 and making the 2023 semifinals, Brandywine went 26-3 and won the state title.

Brad Coleman 6-2 Jr Millington: He averaged 24.2 pointes, 7.7 rebounds and 3 assists per game.

Grady Eklund 6-4 So Pewamo-Westphalia: He averaged 24.1 points, 7.2 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game.

Braeden Flynn 5-9 So Harbor Springs: He averaged 22.1 points, 6.1 assists and 2.7 steals per game.

Evan Haverkamp 6-9 Sr McBain: He averaged 18.5 points, 11.2 rebounds and 1.5 blocked shots per game while shooting 60 percent from the field for the state semifinalist Ramblers.

Oskar Kangas 6-5 Jr Iron Mountain: He averaged 20 points and 20.1 rebounds per game while shooting 57 percent from the floor.

Max Ogden 6-2 Sr Traverse City St. Francis: He eased the lost of 2023 all-stater Wyatt Nausadis averaging 23.3 points per game.

Jamier Palmer 6-1 Sr Niles Brandywine: He averaged 13.9 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 2.9 steals per game while shooting 50 percent from the floor for state champion Brandywine.

Carter Patrick 6-2 Sr Cass City: He led Cass City to back-to-back district titles after a two-decade draught. The school’s all-time scorer, he averaged 23.7 points and 5.7 rebounds.

Shane Ryske 6-3 Sr Schoolcraft Spring Arbor: The all-time leading scorer for this storied program, he averaged 25.5 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game.

Derek Sanders 6-5 Jr Brooklyn Columbia Central: He averaged 18.7 points and 8.3 rebounds per game.

Nick Sobush 5-10 Jr Riverview Richard: He ran the point and was the leading scorer for Richard’s state semifinalist team averaging 17 points per game.

JaQuan Stennis 6-7 So Old Redford Academy: He averaged 18 points and 10 rebounds per game for Old Redford’s state semifinalist team.

Matthew Swanwick 6-6 Jr Centreville: He averaged 22.7, 10.4 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 3.8 steals per game.

Luke Westerdale 6-0 Jr Riverview Richard: He was the top perimeter threat for state semifinalist Richard averaging 16.5 points per game while shooting 40 percent from three-point range.

Mekhi Wingfield 6-3 Sr Concord Albion: He averaged 25 points and 7 rebounds per game.
