With the 17th-Annual Bank Hoops All-State Camp a week away, here is another look at a prospect college coaches will want to check out September 26 at Morey Courts in Mt. Pleasant.

Monroe senior Xander Middleton.
Xander Middleton, a 6-5 senior from Monroe, looks the part, long and lanky with the timeless baller build. And when the ball goes up, he plays the part as well, a classic jumpshooter who as a junior led the Trojans in scoring and assists. While it begins with the three-point shot, he makes the right plays in the flow of the game, and at the college level won’t be keyed in on defensively like he is in high school and can really excel as a shooter as he gains strength. The 4.0 gpa doesn’t hurt, either.
