With the 17th-Annual Bank Hoops All-State Camp under a week away, here is another look at a prospect college coaches will want to check out Sunday, Sept. 26 at Morey Courts in Mt. Pleasant.

Grand Blanc 6-9 senior Shamus Thompson (left).
Shamus Thompson came off the bench as a junior for Grand Blanc’s state championship team, but he made an impact when on the court with his shot-blocking and rim-running. The Bobcats senior has the wingspan that coaches dream of, he’s 6-9 with a 7-2 wingspan. He needed reps as much as anything, and getting that Thompson is improving steadily. He’s a long-term payoff project with serious upside for the college program that invests in him.
