Demetrius Lake 5-9 Jr Holland: He shot 2-of-25 in the opener with West Ottawa but hasn‘t looked back. Lake had his second 44-point effort of the young season against West Catholic and scored 36 against Godwin Heights as the Dutch split for the week.

Class A Underclassman of the Week
Jack Ammerman 5-10 So Ann Arbor Skyline: He scored 22 points, including five three-pointers, as Skyline scored a school-record 94 against Temperance Bedford. Ammerman is averaging 20 points through four games.

Class B Player of the Week
James Jenkins 6-6 Sr Hazel Park: Hazel Park was looking for its first win and Jenkins delivered with 19 points, 14 rebounds and 11 blocked shots against Public Safety Academy. An athletic undersized 4 with a motor who can play at the next level.

Class B Underclassman of the Week
Quinn Blair 6-6 So Dearborn Divine Child: His career-high 34 points led Divine Child to a 70-62 win against Crestwood, improving DC to 3-0 on the season. Blair also had 17 points and 12 rebounds in a blowout of Brother Rice.

Class C Player of the Week
Shawn Pardee 5-11 Sr Millington: His 55 points were one shy of the school record, and the most of any Michigan player thus far this season, as Millington beat Essexville Garber in two overtimes. He made 16-of-17 free throws. Pardee’s previous career high was 40. He had 26 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists in an earlier win against Caro.

Class C Underclassman of the Week
Kyle Stockmeyer 6-2 So Reese: He scored a career-high 26 points in Reese’s defeat of Bay City John Glenn, half of those coming in the third quarter.

Class D Player of the Week
Mike Graves 6-2 Sr Munising: The Mustangs improved to 3-0 with a 10-point win at Rock Mid-Peninsula, where Graves scored 31.

Class D Underlassmen of the Week
Austin Harris  6-2  So & Denver Cade  6-1  So  Buckley: Harris had 23 points, six rebounds and six assists and Cade 16 points, six rebounds and seven assists as Buckley improved to 3-0 against McBain Northern Michigan Christian. In a win over Suttons Bay Harris had 18 points, six rebounds, three assists and four steals while Cade scored 24.
