With the 17th-Annual Bank Hoops All-State Camp two weeks away, this is the second daily look at prospects college coaches will want to check out September 26 at Morey Courts in Mt. Pleasant.

Otsego senior guard Ashton Atwater.
6-0 Otsego senior Ashton Atwater is the third A2 sibling to come through Otsego. The first two, three-point marksman AJ Atwater who graduated from Aquinas, and pure point guard Addison Atwater now at Kalamazoo College, became college hoopers and baby bro is well on his way. All are different in their games, Ashton being a solidly built combo guard who can knock down the lefty 3 or turn the corner and make the right plays off of two feet in the paint. But what all have in common and makes the Atwater family so appealing to college coaches and assets to their programs — play on winning teams; show up and take care of their business without any fuss; score without screwing up offensive flow; humble but with internal, competitive grit; are accountable in the classroom.
