About Bank Hoops

“The Bank: The Michigan High School Basketball Player Databank” was founded by then college student Stephen Bell in 1996. Today Bank Hoops is an NCAA-certified men’s basketball scouting service with nearly 150 client schools at every level across the country. Bell is the only scout in Michigan with both a professional journalism (honored for Michigan Associated Press’ “Best Sports Writing” 2006) and coaching (over career 200 wins with Parallel 45 and ACB/Bank Hoops) background.

Bank Hoops also plays host to the state’s longest-running instruction/exposure event, the Bank Hoops All-State Minicamp, as well as the Bank Hoops Underclassman All-State Minicamp, Bank Hoops Spring Minicamp and Steve Bell/Rashad Phillips College Guard Workshop.
